"Purple Starling"

Good morning Hive family and all the photographers lovers around the world, what I got here for you all today are these other shots I got of the Purple Starling that I captured at the Zoo a few months back. I figured lets pop right back over to a Zoo post with some cool captures of this Purple Starling from my second trip to the Zoo. Now this is another post of this bird but I will have another after this, for this bird right here noticed two other birds, locked beaks and fighting. What did this bird do? Well it went to those two birds to try and break it up, it took awhile but those two birds finally stopped fighting. Was cool to see but still not sure why the other birds were fighting, seemed intense like they were locked onto each other but that post will be for another day. Back to this post here and this guy for now, so the cover shot the one above is the shot of the three that I like the best and it sure is cool looking. The color of the Purple Starling is pretty cool if you ask me, it has yellow, blue and some green, mixed in with some black too and the eyes are pretty awesome looking too. The second shot below was actually taken before the above shot, he or she was on the tree branch, flew across on this rock and was right above the fight, so I assume it was like lets get closer, then the bird went to the ground and again those shots will come later on. Wish I had taken a video of this action, it was crazy to witness.
Now this last shot here is a bit of the same as above shot but it is different as the bird started to move as I was taking the snap shots. All in all it was a nice time to get out to the Zoo and I really want to do it again, the photographer's I went with only stayed for like two or three hours, not enough time or me. If it was me solo I would be staying all day and that is for sure. I never understood when some go on a trip, spend the gas to get there but then only stay for a bit, not to mention ticket prices but all good I appreciated the invite and this time I didn't have to pay, so that was also a bonus.
