"Mt. Rushmore"

Good morning Hive family and all the photographers lovers around the world, what I have here are some more phone shots, shots while pulling up to Mt. Rushmore in South Dakota after a long trip across country. Here is some info on this place, Mount Rushmore is a National Memorial, it is a massive sculpture that is carver into the granite face of Mount Rushmore. In the Lakota language Tȟuŋkášila Šákpe, or Six Grandfathers and is in the Black Hills near Keystone, South Dakota, United States. The Sculptor Gutzon Borglum designed the sculpture and he called Shrine of Democracy. Pretty cool to set my eyes on it but I'm going to reframe my thoughts and feelings on this place. Regardless I still felt like stopping here since we were on our way to Bear Lodge the next day. I really want to go to the Crazy horse but it was a bit more the wrong direction from where we were traveling but another place needing to go one day. So here are some of my shots I took and yes one day the real images will come because my phone doesn't do this justice. I figured to go with the top shot, a bit closer look at the rock and work that they did here carving this massive monument. In the next shot below I am panned out a bit so you can see the nice clouds in the scene.

I through in some random shots here while we were pulling up on the road, some through the window of the car etc. I figured just to through these next three in there because it shows what it is like while driving up to this place and really a site to see.
