Such a magnificent statue adorns the corner of the facade of a historic villa on Pawlowski Street. Perhaps it is Artemis, the Greek goddess of hunting, animals, forests, mountains and vegetation (all of which I love except hunting) If it is Artemis holding a quiver in her left hand leaning against her shoulder, let me remind you of a myth connected with her. One day Artemis was taking a bath. She was being watched by a hunter named Actaeon. When the goddess noticed him, she became angry and turned the young man into a deer, and his own dogs tore him alive.
Or maybe it really is a statue of Artemis... Maybe she used to splash in the Radunia River, and maybe she can still be found in the forest at Jaskowa Dolina? She might have left Greek land and moved to wonderful Polish forests.
The second photo shows a side entrance to the building through a beautiful glass annex, sparkling in the sunlight with colorful glass panes.
I once took a sculpture course, so I can't pass by such a marvel as this statue indifferently....
