The dress is Lehnga choli which is very popular choice for Indian weddings. Lehengas have a long history in Indian culture, with origins in the Mughal courts and evolving over time. They are seen as a symbol of Indian heritage and are often chosen by brides to honor their ancestry and customs on their wedding day. Lehengas offer a balance of comfort and elegance, making them a popular choice for events where one needs to move around and celebrate.
