In Höpfigheim, a charming town in Baden-Württemberg, I delved into digital photography for the first time. Back then, my residence was situated on the fringes of town, in a cozy house with a backdrop of a wildlife reserve. In the garden of my abode, a lilac tree bore mushrooms on its trunk, marking some of my early photographic endeavors. Although the neighboring residents posed challenges, I am relieved to have moved away from that place, even though its location was superb. The abundance of nature and remarkably fresh air were undeniable highlights of the environment.
