Hello friends,
I welcome this monday with a shoot that is not always possible in Suriname, it's a pregnancy or maternity shoot. I'll tell you why. But first i would like to thank you guys for stopping and reading this article.
So pregnancy shoot is not that popular in Suriname. Although people see it on social media how couples in other countries are proud to share images of their shoot. In Suriname we have one problem and that is the variety of cultures and their tradition.
The older generation of people who still live by old traditions have the saying that when a woman is pregnant not everyone has to know it. The main reason behind this is that they believe not every people want to see good of you. There are people who has the so called "evil eye". They just wish that something bad happens to you. This is the reason that older generation of people are against such types of shoots. And believe me the most people think so, that's why we don't get much chances to capture something like this.
Well there are some people who don't care what others say and do this kind of shoot and post it anyway. Then there is another group that let us make the pictures, but tells us to post after the baby is born.
So here i have some photos of this pregnancy shoot of this Indian couple.....
