The Southeast University is among one of the oldest universities not only in Nanjing but also in overall China. Though Nanjing is not a megacity like Shanghai that I have explored in my recent visit to the Shanghai and Nanjing, so I have not got the opportunity to explore very detail of the city area as I have stayed in the Southeast University Jiulonghu campus with my friend which is located in the farthest south district of Nanjing municipal. And so most of the time I have spent in such a area which can be considered as the rural area of the city but full of calmness and natural beauty. The university campus of the Southeast university is so large that you can't be bored there as you can find beautiful lakes, greenish forests area though it is now empty due to the winter season, several canteens with so many food stalls but it was during the holidays so I couldn't explore those, and also the large green playground which will sooth your eyes and mind in spring or autumn season.
Another noticeable thing that I can mention here the countryside surrounding which is a great thing to study here by keeping the busy life into other corner of the campus life. Besides several tourists spots are located near this campus which is a great thing to enjoy a pleasant visits for relaxing to mitigate the load of work pressure. The university covers around 393 hectares which is really a large one for me when I compare with my countries one and also with my own campus in China! Besides there is enough open space to look over the horizon to enjoy the blue sky and to count stars at night! There is a beautiful lake inside the university campus that is connected with the outside river and thus crystal water make an amazing environment to pass couple of hour watching the surrounding. In a nutshell the this campus of the Southeast university one of the best one I have ever seen here in China and Bangladesh which will definitely attract your eyes.
Me and my friend has got one morning to walk around his campus as the others day I was outside to visit the other tourist spots there. That morning was a sunny day and it was a perfect weather to walk around the campus. Though we have visit every corner with his electric bike to save our time but taken some beautiful clicks by walking around the all the most attractive spots in the campus.
Also, I have visited some iconic structure and the in front of some old and beautiful buildings there. But due to the holidays the whole campus was empty without the noise of the students. And the bitter winter is also liable to make the few students to stay inside the building instead of getting in the sun. But I prefer the outing during such sunny winter morning for outdoor activities and enjoy the time in an excellent feeling.
There are are many playgrounds for different types of sports especially the basketball court is in abundant as they follow the American trend in some points I guess. Besides so many table tennis boards, badminton courts including indoor and outdoor, long tennis courts and multiple soccer ground. But they don't play cricket here like the other Asian countries India , Pakistan or other South Asian countries.
The last thing I want to mention that about the maintenance and work schedule plans for the workers and and the authority is quit discipled which shocked me as being a developing countries like India Bangladesh or Pakistan they have really a pathetic maintenance almost in every sectors of works! But here I have seen quite disciplined form the cleanliness perspective to the non academic activities. It is very tough for my country due to huge population density and the goodwill of the workers!
