A few Mixed subject Monochrome shots to start the week
Good Morning, starting the week as I generally do with a few Monochrome shots, no real subject this week other than they all mono edits.
A while back I very seldom did MOno edits, I Guess I used to focus more on the volors I saw when editing photos, but once I started trying mono edits, I noticed how they are quite different to view, the eys and mind do not get distracted by the colors but instead starts to look closer and spot all the cool details and the contrasts.
Well thats what I think, but others may think on it differently, thats what makes the world so interesting, different viewpoints and opinions
This first shot I had parked on Pope's Island and was walking over the bridge toward Fairhaven and spotted the boats in the marina, and the cool reflections as the water was so still.
As shot in color the starbursts on the lights didn't jump out at me, but once I edited
it to Mono they grabbed my attention

On Popes Island again for this next hot, it was a foggy and misty morning, which gave quite a surreal feel to some of the images I caught
Although i will admit I did something I seldom to and when editing in Photoshop I added a little bit more fog, not a lot but I think it added to the feel and was more that I remembered it like that morning
