A Monday Mono Mix of images
Keeping up with my habit of sharing mono Images on a Monday, I edited a few shots taken on recent walks in Mono
Starting off with a small pond in Brooklawn Park here in New Bedford, I have shared a post recently of this pond but all color images, I saved these couple of mono shots for this post.

As I am preparing this post I just realized most of these edits if not all are B@W which is unusual for me I often tend to do mono edits in Sepia or bluey shades, I guess I must have bene in a B&W mood when I edited these , or just thought they looked better in standard B&W
I went for B&W with these first two shots and I feel the cool reflections and details on the ice in particular don't really stand out in the color images I had edited for the other post

and now one of the piers by the beach I often visit, I have other shots from that walk in color, but I liked the feel and mood of this one in mono,, sometimes the colors drag our attention away from the details

Your may notice some kids in the background also walking around the pond, they looked at me like I was crazy taking photos of the pond, Maybe I am, actually I probably am mad, but as I often say Sanity is over rated, a little madness as long as your not hurting anyone is fine :)
This next one is on East Beach the sun peeking over the horizon, I went for mono with this one as it was quite a cool morning and I felt mono gave a more cold feel to this image
