A Nice evening at West beach
With the early mornings getting quite cool recently I went out for a few evening walks, well strictly speaking afternoon walks, with the sun setting at around 4:20 it feels like evening if you know what I mean LOL
This evening I got to the beach well before sunset to get some steps in and hope to catch a nice sunset which I was very fortunate to that evening, the temperature was quite pleasant and many people were strolling along beside the beach, and as you will see in a couple of shots ( if you look closely ) even a couple of people out fishing.
So I will start the post with a shot of the colors just after the sun dropped below the horizon, one of the shots from near the end of my stroll here but its my favorite shot of the series I will share so dropping it first in the post.
PS sorry I have had to slow down a bit on visiting posts and commenting for a couple of days, I sprained a finger and possible tore some ligaments ( will know for sure on Friday when I visit the Hand Specialist, I have it in a splint for now, but the swelling is still not going down completely, and I have realized typing either on my phone or on a keyboard is irritating it a bit so trying a couple of days staying off them for the most part to see if that helps
PPS so you may ask why am I still posting, well luckily I had a few posts prepared in advance so can post for perhaps another week with ones I have in draft already and I expect well before then my finger will be a lot better :)

Now I have posted many photos of sunrise from East beach and fort Taber, which is on the opposite side of this little stretch of land from West Beach, in fact one night I was there plenty early and walked across to East Beach and Back so its a short few minute walk, its nice to have a spot where on one side you can catch nice sunrise shots and a short distance away catch Sunset images.
Now this next shot is from a similar spot as the first shot I shared just an hour or so earlier and you can see its a nice wide beach which is pretty popular on warm summer days

the water was fairly still that evening so some nice reflections on the water

As the sun came down behind some clouds a sundog appeared in the sky and reflected on the water, not as cool of course as a rainbow, but nice to see

As the sun initially dipped below the horizon some warm colors came out on the horizon and I got this next shot, wondering if more colors would come or they would fade away

But as you saw from the first shot in this post I got lucky with a nice sunset that evening
