A sunrise as seen on the Cove Walk

One of the sots I would occasionally walk in the early morning was the Cove Walk, w3hich is one of two walkways on top of the Hurricane barrier walls here in New Bedford, I have done posts about the Hurricane Barrier walls before so wont go on about them in this post.

The Cove walk is a popular spot for walkers in the early morning, but not so many that it seems crowded, it is not an ideal spot to catch a sunrise generally, but occasionally you get some nice colors seen from there which I will share in this post.

Starting on the cove walk way itself, I generally park my car at the end of this path I am looking down in this first shot, and start my walk heading along this way.

There is some nice views across the water, but as you can see in this next shot the sun rises over the water the other side of the buildings you can see across the water in this shot,
However, over the other side where you can see a couple of towers, is a good spot for sunset walks, which I have done a few of recently, not sure how often I will get them in, with my weakened lungs I feel the cold and try to be sensible and stay indoors or not get my normal longer walks in when the temperature drops below 40F

So I looked back along the walkway, over the water one way and this next shot is looking the other way

Next up is a small spot at the end of the Cove Walk, I often head down off the walkway, and walk beside the road around the corner to this sport I enjoy this view flanked but the rocks of the Hurricane barrier on one side and a tree on the other
