An early morning visit to Fort Tabor Park
Good Morning, I hope all is well with you
Today I will share some shots from a recent early morning walk I took in Fort Tabor Park here in New Bedford, as those that follow me know its a spot i go to often and share many shots fromthe beach, but even though I will start with the beach I will share shots of other spots in the park as well

Fort Tabor Park,is such a beautiful coastal park offering a rich blend of history, witht he Mueum and Fort Rodman, scenic views with a good portion of the outskirts of the park having water views , and recreational activities, a kids playgorund and trails. Situated at the southern tip of the New Bedford peninsula, the park overlooks Buzzards Bay and features stunning views of the harbor and surrounding waters.
NOw Locals get into a tizzy sometimes when I call the Park Fort Tabor, as to some of the older folks it is Fort Rodman, but on maps and signs at the entrance tot he park it is labeled Fort Tabor so thats what I call it.
and the Old Fort in the park is Fort Rodman
Staying onthe beach for the next photo as it was such a lovely sunrise that morning

But I also wanted to get a good walk in the morning so as well as walking back and forth the length of the beach, I walked off the beach and around the park, I think that day I got an almost 4 mile walk in
This building is near the car park and I have walked past it many times, but I dont think I have ever shared a photo of it. perhaps with clear skies it looks a bit dull but with the nice sunrise colors that morning it seemed more eye catching to me
