Shipyard Park Mattapoisett MA
A couple of days ago it was a nice morning so I headed out for a sunrise walk, with the sunrise creeping earlier day by day it means I have to head out earlier. I was wide awake at 4AM and at about 5:30, after checking the weather apps I decided to drive to Mattapoisett, a town about 25 Minutes away from home.
Sunrise was at about 5:38 that morning so I go there about half an hour before the sunrise, I first got a nice walk in around Neds Point Light, I havent edited those shots yet but will get to tham at some stage have shared any from there before, but since it was still early I decided to make another stop, by the Harbor and a small spot called Shipyard park, and the shots I will share today are from this walk.
Its a spo I have visited a couple of times before but not as often as other places I regularly go to
now I think this green area is actually the part called Shipyard Park, its right by the Harbor and a few piers where boats can dock, not that many are inthe water there yet.
The first shot is of the gazebo there with the cool weather vane, apparently they do host a few events here in the warmer months, including music in the park where the band sets up in the gazebo. It would be cool to check out one of those events sometime
