Hoods up at the Downtown Car cruise
Good Morning, I hope your weekend is starting well,
Continuing on with my Habit of sharing on Saturdays photos I have taken at car shows I went to in the warmer months.
and in this post I share some more shots of the car show they had in the Historic district downtown New Bedford one Friday night and the theme I went for with this weeks photos is hoods up.
One a previous post I did from another show where I did a hoods up post someone asked why they have the hoods up, so I guess I can address that and then get into the photos
Very simply I guess the answer is the owners are proud of the Engine or the mods they have done to it and lift their hoods so passers by can see and admire the power under the hood.

Now I will be honest I do have a peek at the engines when I see hoods up and may sometimes think WOW that's a beast of a motor in that, or wow so clean and shiny
but for me I am more interested in the shape and style of the cars especially the classics
How about you, which catches your eye the most?

as I have said in previous post there was a good turn out of spectators at this event, this next shot shows that a bit I tried to get shots of the cars without to many people in shot but at times that was impossible
