Market Friday Bryant park Christmas Fair

This is the one tag and challenge that I always make a point of joining, and also look through the posts of others that join the challenge and seeing markets from all around the world.

For this weeks post, I went back to my archives again back when I was working in NYC, now I have said at times I do not miss NYC so much, but on thinking about it, at this time of year especially I do miss my Walks around the city and seeing all the decorations and lights at this time of year.

Thinking about that lead to this post as I was thinking about the places I would always visit in the weeks leading up to Christmas in NYC and Battery Park was one of them, to see mainly the Tree and Ice Skating rink, but also to check out the festive shops which I will focus on in this post.

They call this set of Kiosks that they have each year the Winter Village and has over 150 Kiosks selling all kinds of things

To Be honest I mostly visited this area early morning before the shops open, sometimes walking up there in my lunch break finding it to crowded for my liking and just walking on buy. but once I visited there when it wasnt so crowded and got these shots I will share from a few years back

NOw this shop metal park had some real cool things made from recycled materials

A look in that store and loved some of the things they had on display, but didn't like the prices so much and did not end up getting anything from there

I cannot get over how few people there are I am guessing this is around when the shops had just opened up and before the midday crowds

If ever visiting NYC around this time of year there is so much to see, but I would recommend swinging by Bryant park if you can
