Mono Monday a trail in Buttoonwood Park
Good Morniong all, another week another Monday and for me another Mono Monday post
Today I am sharing a few shots from a recent walk I took in Buttonwood Park here in New Bedford one afternoon, we had a day the temps climbed up to 55F and i made the most of it for a nice walk, the next day temps dived back below freezing and we got almost a foot of snow.
Now depending on when I share this as I do prepare posts in advance this may be the same topic and a hint at my Wednesday Walk post for this week, but that one will be color images and these in Mono and a different set of shots
Starting with a segull and some ducks on the pond

I also bumped into a fellow local Photog Earl, who take ssome amazing birding photos, I have met him a couple of times out on photo walks, but most of the time we walk at different times, for the most of the year I am an early morning walker out catching sunrises, and at that time Earl is generally heading to bed so its rare we bump into each other out taking photos , her ehe was walking around one sid eof the pond as I was on across the pond from him

This may be the exception where I will share almost the exact same photo in both this and the Wednesday Walk post, they are actually two different photos but framed almost exactly the same, I thought this rock looked cool and I saw it as a face smiling at me

I thought on this new trail I found I would be able to do a full loop around the pond but I forgot there was this little stream which was a bit cool and deep for me to cross through

Some people have been camping in this area, and a shame to see such a mess left behind
