Mono Monday here and there
Good Morning all, I hope you all had a good weekend and wish you a good week ahead
as I have the habit of doing I am starting my week of posts with soem Mono images, all of these were taken over the last week on morning walks
Starting with a shot of some pleasure craft docked at one of the marinas on Popes Island, it was a foggy grey morning so not ideal for to many photos but good for some that worked well in Mono edits

I do love this swing Bridge that opens on the hour to allow boats to head out of the port, especially in a moody morning and a mono edit gives a cool feel to this image
Perhaps a Moddy image which may be apt as many who are in a rush to get somewhere and get caught when the bridge opens I am sure get quite frustrated

More boats on Popes Island the yacht looks kind of out of place surrounded by commercial fishing boats

And another shot of the wing bridge, I often wonder if I was on the bridge say at this pint after the barriers that come down when the bridge is about to open, would they go ahead an open it, or yell down at me from the control room you may see up on th bridge to get off it .
I think it would be cool to be on the bridge when it opens
I actually went onto Popes Island hoping the fog would not be to bad to get soem shots of an art piece there, but it stayed foggy and started raining so I had to go back another day for those shots

and to finish off a New Park opened here called Abolition Row, I swung by it the other day and will do a post about it, but for now here is one shot I edited of a statue there, well just the hand, more shots to come from that visit in a future post
