Mono Monday mostly shots at home
Good Morning, wishing you a good day and week ahead
As I tend to do on Mondays, sharing a few mono shots to start the week, but a little different this week as most of the shots I share today were taken in my basement
Not gettign out for walks for the reasons i have mentioned before, but i Guess I should say again, in case you haven't read my other posts, I am still liited for a few more weeks on how much weight I can lift, I personally think if I did not overload my camera bag I would be fine but my wife is overly, or perhaps rightly cautious and i have promised here I will not go out for photo walks till the 6 weeks are up when the Dr said I can lift heavier things, and secondly winter has decided to come early and its been pretty cold out to cold for me to be out at sunrise for sure
So I decided to try getting a bit creative with trying some shots at home down in the basement, and no I did not carry my camera bag down to the basement, just the camera and one lens at a time, and a few other small bits and pieces I will try to do some photography with
Those who have followed me for a while will know my preferred photography is land and seascape,s particularly in the early morniing, doing photos in the basement with lights, flashes and such is something new for me so its going to be fun and perhaps frustrating trying to get some good shots down there but will keep me busy and not so frustrated with being stuck at home
and having said that, I will be honest, I am not that happy with these shots, but they were a good starting point and I have other ideas of things to try, so hopefully with time I will get better and more interesting shots
Starting with a couple of the Mini figs from some of the Lumibrick sets I have built, these two characters are from the old West series

I also popped out to our lawns and grabbed a few leaves prior to our grandson helping with blowing them into piles and putting them into bags, I had planned for these to be color shots, and got a few that I think worked ok in color but tried a couple in MONO
