Mono Monday with some splashes of color
Good Morning, I hope you all had a good weekend, mine was fairly quiet but I was able to get out for good walks both days of the weekend so for me thats a good weekend ;)
As I tend to do on Mondays I am sharing a few mono shots, but this week I thought i would mix it up a bit and do some shots with splashes of color, some call is that and some callit elective color, either works for me ;)
These are from vvarious early morning walks i have taken over the last week
Starting with a shot at the portI decided to keep most of the reds in this one, and I know its all a matter of preferencre and some may prefer all mono, but for me the splashes of color make this pop and grab ones attention more

We have had a few foggy mornings recently and i have gone to Popes Island, to try and catch a shot like this next one, the light trails of the barriers coming down and the bridge inthe fog in the background the firts two attempts to get this shot, no boats wamted to head out and the bridge never opened but on my last try I got lucky to get this shot

Now its not to often I get shots after the sun has risen above the horizon, as normally after the sunrises I drop my camera gear intot he car and then walk to get my steps in, but sometimes i just drop off my tripod and keep the camera with me, and once I got this shot :)

Another foggy morning this time at the port, to be honets this shot in color or straight mono, just didnt appeal to me, but I liked the blues of the fishign net and tried a selective edit and quite like it
