Morning blues
Good Morning all I hope all is well
those that follow me on here know I love my early morning walks starting while it is dark and through the blue hour and sunrise, and as much as I love when I am blessed to see a gorgeous colorful sunrise I do enjoy the peace and tranquility of the early morning and the morning blues, perhaps that is why blue is my favorite color, for close to 50 years now I have bene getting up well before day break and heading out often, for bike rides runs and swims in my teens and nowadays for photo walks, i find when out for a walk at that time i do my best thinking, clear my head and am the most relaxed and calm at these times
So today I thought i would share a few shots taken during the early morning blue hour

and up on the Harbor walk,
for those that do not know the term the blue hour
The blue hour which in itself is a misconception as it seldom is anywhere close to an hour long doesn’t even come close to lasting a full hour. In reality, what photographers call the blue hour really only lasts about 20 minutes.
The blue hour generally lasts the 20 to 30 minutes just after sunset and just before sunrise. For example, if the sun sets at 5 p.m., the blue hour would last from approximately 5:10 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.. If the sun rises at 5 a.m., the blue hour lasts from about 4:30 a.m. to 4:50 a.m.
The exact timing of the blue hour will vary from location to location and change depending on time of year and air quality.
and called the blue hour as when the sun is below the horizon and the blue wavelenghts of light tend to be dominant
