Some grand Properties around the city
Often driving around the city I see some of the grand properties and have bene meaning to for ages take a stroll around and area and getting some shots of this lovely or large properties but as is often the case we have plans that sit in the back of our heads and never get around to doing.
Well the other morning I was heading out for a photo walk and trying to think of something different to get photos of, head to a new spot or come up with a fresh idea, and as I was thinking that I drove by a house and I though OK time to start this series, so I parked the car and took a stroll around a few blocks looking for properties that caught my eye.
and that's what I am sharing today
When I was editing the photos I noticed that many of the houses that caught my eye had some shade of blue on them perhaps not surprising as I do love the blues and that's what I will share today grand old houses with shades of blue
Now this one is perhaps not so big and grand but I would it quite charming

When we retired we moved here to New Bedford to be close to family, and as I was looking at these properties I was thinking about how many when they retire they downsize, but not us, we were living in a small condo properties before we moved, and ended up buying a nice house in a nice area, but bigger than what we had moved from, but that's part so we has extra bedrooms for when the grandkids sleep over, and we went from no yard work in the condo to a good size yard to take care of, I guess we like to be different, and for the most part I am very happy with our place, but somedays when working in the yard I kind of wished we had stayed small LOL
But I digress as no photos or our place in this post, but that first property looked like it didn't have to much yard to maintenance my thoughts wondering off in that direction
This next property looks quite grand and lots of blues with splashes of reds on the fence and doors, this is the one I saw and prompted me to park and walk the streets here

OK now this is more grey than blue but I will pretend its a bluey shade of grey and I wanted to include this in this post as it was perhaps my favorite of the properties I saw that morning, not that I would want or probably be able to afford living there, its far to big for what we need
