I hope your weekend is going well
Its cool here, sure I know not as cold as some other places and we haven't had any snow of significance but still, for me its pretty cold, so when thinking what to share today, I thought why not some color and flowers seemed a good choice for that and here we are
Funnily enough when I edited these photos the other day I did not even notice they were all different shades of red
Well I guess red often signifies warm or hot, and maybe thats what I was thinking subconsiously when I picked and edited them
Starting with this one flower I do know the name of a cone flower

A coneflower (genus Echinacea) is a hardy, daisy-like perennial from North America, known for its distinctive spiky central cone and vibrant petals, often purple but now in many colors; they thrive in full sun, attract pollinators and birds, and are drought-tolerant, making them popular in gardens and valued in herbal medicine for immune support.
Now most of these i believe were taken in the Allan C haskell Gardens here in New Bedford, its what I like to call a hidden jewel of New Bedford, such a charming space especially in spring when the new flowers come out, and is so well maintained, and perhaps sadly seems so little known in the city when I have shared posts bout it on other Social sites I have been asked many times where it is
Another flower, a light shade of red, perhaps more pink really but close enough

and the flowers of course attract pollinators such as this bee, the day I took these I didnt have much luck catchign shots of the bees they move around so fast
