Sublime and Beautiful Sunday, a few flowers

Good Morning and I hope your weekend is going well
For the last couple of posts for these tags I have shared shots of animals at the Local Buttonwood Park zoo, so I thought I should share something different today, so I went with some flower shots, but funnily enough, still at the zoo
The Zoo is a nice little zoo with well-looked-after grounds and animals, and they have quite a few flowers around the grounds to support the pollinators
Now as those who follow me know I am not expert when it comes to flowers. I may be able to identify a rose or a pansy but from there on I use the fancy non-technical names like a cute reddish flower :)
But let me start with one i do think I know the name of I do believe it is an Iris and I love the colors of this one
NOw why do I think I know the name of this one, my Late father, who among be talented in many things, sports carpentry was also an amazing gardener, the first thing he would proudly show us around whenever we visited were his gardens, both the flower garden but also his vegetable patch. He did such an amazing job on both, alas although I would like to think I inherited some good traits from my father, gardening is not one of those.
As some would say he had a green thumb ie a talent for gardening, whereas as I have what I would call black and blue thumbs, ie a terrible gardener, and black and blue because I am also not a carpenter whenever I tried any carpentry work I would end up hitting my thumb or fingers and hence they would become black and blue :)
