Sublime and Beautiful Sunday A spring walk

For me what is most sublime at the moment is the spring like weather we have had recently, with highs in the mid to low 70s and warm enough for me to get out for morning walks again and see the beauty of the start of a new day.
that said, the shots I will share today are from the one-day time walk I have taken so far.
I dont get out for day time walks so much as my wife doesnt fele up to getting out and about much these days and I feel bad heading out and doign what I enjoy while she is stuck at home, but I am hoping to get her out for a few times over the warmer months, even if I dont get to take photos, it would be good for her to get out.
But I digress lets get to these photos.
Buttonwood park is a lovely park here called by many, including myself the jewel of the city, it is about 97 acres so quite large. But the shots I took today are all in a small part of it near the pond
Let me start with some daffodils, their lovely bright yellows are often the first sign of spring taking hold and as such I do love to see them.

Alas lookig at the forecast ahead seems its going to be cooling down for a few days, dropping to below freezing point tonight apparently, but hopefully the temps will bounce back up quickly
Now this next shot came as a surpise to me as I was walking around the pond, I often see ducks on the pond, but not sure I have seen a Cormorant there before, luckily I had my longer 50-400mm lens with me as was able to catch this shot of them

Of course if you know me you know that if I visit the pond I always end up taking a shot of this tree on an island inthe middle of the pond
