West beach Sunset
Although I have done a walk on West Beach this year and shared some photos from that walk, these shots are from a visit there last year when there was some nice color sin the sky.

West Beach is on a peninsular here in New Bedford which has some nice beaches all around, East Beach on one side is a nice spot to catch sunrises, Fort Tabor and its beach at the end of the peninsular, and West Beach which is a nice spot to enjoy catching a sunset, and on nice evenings its a popular spot many people walking and enjoy some fresh air.
Speaking of walking this is the pathway one can walk along alongside the beaches, I am guessing when I took these it wasnt that warm an evening as there is no one in sight walking along here.
Often many people also drive up and park by the side of the road and sit in their cars enjoying the colors of the sunset, but again on this day seems no one is parked along here either.

Enough of the road lets look out over the water Some reds on the horizon and splashes of color in the sky,
Now as for that pipe heading out into the water, which I am not sure what it is for, I guess many including me for the most part, will avoid taking a shot with the pipe in view as it is perhaps a bit of an eyesore.
but on this night maybe because it was a moody sky I took this shot

Looking out over one of the rock walls along the beach, looking at this shot again I may have over done the colors a bit in these shots, perhaps because its bene a while since i saw a nice sunrise or sunset
