Conceptual Studio Photoshoot : Black and Blue

Hello everyone in Photography Lovers community. Its been a while since my last post. How are you guys doing? I hope you all are having a great day.

Today I am going to share one of my studio portraiture collection. This photo was taken during my photography studies years back. I am still using my old camera canon 70D with its kit lens 18mm - 200mm during this photoshoot session.

One 180cm Octagon soft box attached onto a 400watt Jinbei studio strobe lighting was used as a main lighting. A single 20cm by 20cm continuous LED lighting was used as a fill light.

The octagon soft box was placed high and pointed downward from above the head at 45 degree on the left side of me.

The LED was positioned parallel with her right shoulder as a fill light. But somehow during this time the fill light was not that visible on the photo. Only that it makes a good catchlight in the eyes :DD

This is Lorna Ann. This was our meetup and our first photoshoot session. It was really hard to get to her to agree for a studio photoshoot session with me because of her tight working schedule. Luckily she contacted me and she had very little time to do a photoshoot session.

We finished the photoshoot session in less than 45 minutes.

She is a very talkative person. Likes to smile while talking and very friendly. But somehow she can give a very mysterious vibes.

I did not do much of ice breaking during the photoshoot session. She knows how to pose and knows how to give beautiful expression. As far as I know, during this time she never went to any studio for photoshoot or any photoshoot session with a professional photographer, yet she delivered a very good job during our photoshoot session.

Her face was like a Japanese Anime character. Her eyes are big and the face contour is perfect for cosplaying an anime character.

She can change how she looks instantly, when I was preparing for the photoshoot session, she never smiles. She looks like a doll, she talked to me with straight face and I was a little bit intimidated by her sometimes >..<"

This was the only full body photo taken without her smiling. You can see the difference in the mood only by changing the facial expression. I was having a great time during the photoshoot session only that the photoshoot session duration was really short because of her schedule.
