After a cold blast in March, we got some decent weather and I decided to hike the Caleb's Walk trail in Cootes Paradise (Hamilton Ont.). The trail starts with a nice wood walkway in the middle of a marsh and to my surprise there was already green grass, Robbins, dandelions and skunk cabbage! We had snow only a week ago!
When I got to the water, there was a goose leaving its nest and it seemed like a great spot to just kick back and relax for a little bit. Taking in the nice scenery.
The trail that looped back to my starting point was nice and relaxing and was lined with green ferns.
It was a great way to spend a morning and I am very thankful I made it out there when I did! We are getting another round of snow later today lol (they are saying a short lived round of it though).
