Century Manor is the last building that remains of the Hamilton Asylum for the insane, that was demolished in the 1980s. It is a gorgeous Victorian building that has been left to rot for decades. Making it a great explore and I had done a documentary style video about it 2 years ago.
A video that now has a false copyright strike on YouTube, rather than appealing that strike I have decided to redo the video, so yesterday I went to do new drone footage of the building and the grounds around it. As the drone approached the building I noticed a hawk perched on an old hydro pole. A hydro pole that the drone got very close to. Worried the hawk would attack the drone, I started to reverse it back away. But the hawk had zero interest in it so I moved in closer and snared snapping pictures. Incredibly the hawk didn't care that the drone was only 10 feet away from it and even feel a sleep while I was snapping away.
