Last night I went to a very familiar location, the creek at the bottom of Westcliffe waterfall. Agreat little cascade that is always great for light painting!
I found the spot that I wanted to shoot at and did a test shot before the goal steel wool shot. Steel wool with parts of a firework added to it and lights on the rope.
Very happy with the results and ready to shoot more, it just had to be somewhere else. Immediately after I took the shot I heard people in the distance saying what was that? Should we call some one?
Si I ventured down the trail and it was complete silence with no one around. Why not just set up there. Once again after some test shots, I spun another.
By the end of the trail, I could see big dark clouds moving in and flashes of lightning moving in quick. I decided to end the night seeing as I had already had a lot of fun painting the night!
