Dear friends, I am indeed a farmer with a very small land. However, I must be wise in managing land in rain-fed rice fields. The area of land I have is only about 8 rante (3200m2).
I use 2 rante (800m2) of land to plant cucumbers for daily shopping. I divide the 2 rante land into two to be able to plant crops that make money quickly. So the planting system has two stages. So that I can continue to cultivate the land well and be useful in every place. I only use it as fertilizer from animal manure and as medicine I use the remaining ingredients in the kitchen to be used as fungicide, insecticide and plant stimulant. I do it by trying or experimenting for several years on rice plants.
The rest of about 6 rante (2400m2) of land area I planted with rice plants. Because my basic need is rice. From this harvest I continue to survive in everyday life. From the results of research and experiments that I do orthodox or without tools I continue to write and develop in the plants I plant. So that I can fix any deficiencies that occur in the field. Deficiencies in rain-fed rice fields when the dry season arrives. I have to work overtime to get water. Water is a necessity for every person, animal and plant. Lack of water greatly affects the development and growth of my plants. That's all my friends as my daily activities.
