One thing I truly appreciate about rural areas is the charm of old houses. Back then, homes were built with thought and practicality. Even though modern materials weren’t available, people relied on what nature around them provided, making the houses eco-friendly by default. Life was simpler, and convenience was shaped by necessity.
ग्रामीण इलाकों की एक चीज़ जो मुझे सचमुच पसंद है, वह है पुराने घरों का आकर्षण। उस ज़माने में, घर सोच-समझकर और व्यावहारिकता के साथ बनाए जाते थे। हालाँकि आधुनिक सामग्रियाँ उपलब्ध नहीं थीं, फिर भी लोग अपने आस-पास की प्रकृति पर निर्भर रहते थे, जिससे उनके घर पर्यावरण के अनुकूल बन जाते थे। जीवन सरल था, और सुविधाएँ ज़रूरतों के अनुसार ढल जाती थीं।
The slate roof, in particular, carried great significance...it wasn’t just durable and weather resistant but also kept the house cool in summer and warm in winter. Locally sourced slate blended naturally with the surroundings, making the homes both sustainable and long-lasting.
स्लेट की छत, खास तौर पर, बहुत महत्वपूर्ण थी... यह न सिर्फ़ टिकाऊ और मौसम प्रतिरोधी थी, बल्कि घर को गर्मियों में ठंडा और सर्दियों में गर्म भी रखती थी। स्थानीय स्तर पर मिलने वाली स्लेट प्राकृतिक रूप से आसपास के वातावरण में घुल-मिल जाती थी, जिससे घर टिकाऊ और लंबे समय तक चलने वाले बनते थे।
These are the surroundings of this lovely little house. The farmers here mainly rely on their apple orchards, putting their heart and soul into the work. No matter what the weather is like, the scenery here always feels breathtaking. Nature’s beauty is unmatched—it brings a sense of peace to the mind, body, and soul. The tall trees stand so high, it almost feels like they’re brushing against the sky.
ये इस प्यारे से छोटे से घर का माहौल है। यहाँ के किसान मुख्यतः अपने सेब के बागों पर निर्भर हैं और तन-मन से काम करते हैं। मौसम कैसा भी हो, यहाँ का नज़ारा हमेशा मनमोहक लगता है। प्रकृति की सुंदरता बेजोड़ है—यह मन, तन और मन को शांति प्रदान करती है। ऊँचे-ऊँचे पेड़ इतने ऊँचे हैं कि मानो आसमान से छू रहे हों।
So this was a glimpse of the village life and it's beauty in the heavy rains and the shifting skies of the monsoon.
तो यह थी ग्रामीण जीवन की एक झलक और मानसून में भारी बारिश और बदलते आसमान के बीच इसकी सुंदरता।
