Lately I've been wanting to take pictures not of specific objects, but of whole places and make them look good. I must admit that this is a bit difficult for me, I'm usually not quite clear on what it is I really want to capture and by the time I take the photo, it doesn't come out as great as I had it in mind.
For the photo above I wanted to take a symmetrical photo, but the result was not as perfect as I had hoped. I gave it a few tweaks with Lightroom to make it look cooler. While I was editing I noticed that you could see the people praying and I thought it was cool, I didn't think it would have so much detail :P
A little later I decided to take a picture of a simple lamp. I found a good position, aimed and just shot. The moon on the left gave a very special touch to this photo, in my opinion it is quite simple, but it has a very strong touch and I really liked the final result.
For this one I struggled a bit to find a good place to take the picture. I took this photo yesterday and today I went to the same place again to try to find a better angle, but the sun was too bright to get something decent, so I decided not to get bitter and edit the only one I liked.
I played with the sky quite a bit on this specific one, it made the background look pretty cool.
I took this last photo today as well. It is another statue in the same square, but of another historical figure named Simon Bolivar, the liberator of Venezuela during the time of enslavement.
Playing with Lightroom is pretty cool, they make the photos look really amazing and I have a lot of fun using this tool. I still feel like I have a long way to go, but I'm getting better and better at capturing things the way I really want them to look.
Thanks so much for reading all this!
And I give you this flower
