Taking pictures of silver
I've been enjoying taking pictures of my silver coins and rounds much more since I have a decent camera. It's been proven quite hard with a phone, especially when it's a shiny coin it can be hard to get the coin on camera as it is. I feel grateful that I'm now able to do so with a decent camera.
What I think is even worse, and triggers my little bit of OCD (lol) is that all pictures are so different. Some are made in one room, others in the other, some have a black background, others white or only transparant pictures with just the coin. I hate it and want to change this.

Cleaning up my folders
Lately I've been cleaning up many things in the house and dumping unused items as we need the space and it felt so good that I continued the cleaning up of my digital folders because there are just SO many pictures that I really don't need to have on my computer because I haven't touched them in years. The plan was to move them to a disk all along but with my hernia issues for a year, things got placed on hold. I feel so much better now and energized as I haven't been ever since planning our emigration from Budapest to Spain. Suddenly all my days are filled with tons of tasks that I also end up finishing and it feels so good.

The silver stack
While going through my digital stuff I found one folder after the other with some silver and it annoyed me so much that all these pictures are so different that I decided to think about one decent way to take all these pictures again and organise them properly and then get rid of the old pictures once I made sure I have all the correct data written down in a sheet as well.
While my collection is still manageable to do so I guess it's smart to not postpone this for too long as I'm buying silver monthly and I don't want the task to become too big. I do need to decide on the ideal circumstances to take the pictures first so the first step will be testing out some areas in the house as well as playing with the light and settings of the camera. I would hate to start and have 10 coins/rounds done and then find out some are just not that great in these circumstances.

First things first
I have some other tasks that I want to finish so I will probably start with this at the end of the week/next week. It's also "Semana Santa" (Easter Holiday) here next week so I'll have plenty of time to play around with some fun stuff with the kid too.
I've already decided on some cool activities we'll do together so my aim is to get as many work tasks out of the way this week as possible. And after this holiday it's just a matter of two months and the almost 3 month summer holiday starts, best be prepared! :)
Have a lovely day!
