My husband has always been fascinated by drones, and naturally, I got swept up in the excitement too. But let me tell you, my early attempts at flying were nothing short of comedic. Picture this: me, frantically asking, "Is this good? Which way should I turn? What's the best angle? Does this picture look alright?" It was a never-ending barrage of questions. Despite my initial struggles, I gradually got the hang of it. Just when I thought I had mastered the Phantom One, my husband decided to upgrade. Seriously, I had finally learned to fly that drone, and then he went and bought a new one!
Now, we're proud owners of a DJI Mavic. Yes, it's smaller and more practical, but come on! Here I am, back at square one, learning all the new settings. Why are you doing this to me?! 😊
Flying a drone is truly amazing. The views from the sky are breathtaking, and creating videos and pictures is a blast. Apparently, I'm better at making videos than taking photos. So, I thought, why not share my drone pictures from my learning phase? I'm always learning. ALWAYS.
I'm pretty sure I drive my husband crazy with my repeated questions, but every now and then, I manage to take a decent picture. As I scrolled through my old photos, I couldn't help but laugh at my early attempts. There are definitely some "what was I thinking?" moments, but I've decided to post some of these photos anyway. Mistakes and all, they represent my journey.
Oh, and there's always a bit of friendly competition between my husband and me over who took the better picture. Maybe I usually end up losing, but every now and then, he'll say, oh, your picture is better than mine. I'm not sure if he's just saying that to make me feel better, but it doesn't matter, it still makes me feel great! 😊
Nature is incredibly beautiful, and capturing it from above is a unique challenge. Learning to adjust colors and create perfect photos is no easy task. The adrenaline rush that comes with flying a drone is unbeatable. You never know what spectacular view or interesting angle you might discover next.
So, here are my photos from my learning phase, taken over the years. Some might not be perfect, but I think some of them turned out pretty well. 😊Sharing these with you is a joy, and I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed capturing them. Life is a continuous learning process, and not everything is always perfect. But that's what makes it exciting, right?
To everyone out there struggling with a new hobby or skill, keep at it. Every mistake is a lesson, and every lesson brings you closer to mastery. The sky’s the limit, literally and figuratively. Fly high, keep learning, and always take time to enjoy the view.
