In general, botanical tulips do not compete with their relatives in size, color, and variety. They are simply different, they are hard to miss, and that is why I love them.
This spring I was waiting for them the most. I already told you about them in my previous post, where I shared a photo of white tulips. Next came the pink ones. Small in size, but very fragile, tender and extremely beautiful. Thin pink delicate petals on the outside, and inside like a golden star.
These flowers are close to wild tulips, so I planted them with the hope that they would grow, because my previous attempts with other varieties were in vain. They usually grow up to 20 centimeters in height, bloom earlier than regular tulips, and are not very picky.
I planted them in the fall to a depth of about 10 centimeters in light, not too wet soil. I leave the leaves after flowering. Botanical tulips do not like transplanting, so I think they have taken their final place in my flowerbed.
Взагалі ботанічні тюльпани не змагаються зі своїми родичами розміром, кольором та різноманіттям. Вони просто інші, їх важко не помітити і за це я їх люблю.
Цієї весни я їх чекала найбільше. Я вже розповідала вам у моїй попередній публікації про них, там я ділилася фото білих тюльпанів. На черзі зацвіли рожеві. Невеликі за ростом , але дуже тендітні, ніжні та надзвичайно красиві. Ззовні тонкі рожеві делікатні пелюстки, а всередині ніби золотиста зірка.
Ці квіти наближені до дикорослих тюльпанів, тому я їх посадила з надією, що вони виростуть, тому що попередні мої спроби з іншими сортами були марними. Як правило ростуть до 20 сантиметрів у висоту , цвітуть раніше від звичайних тюльпанів та не дуже вибагливі.
Я садила їх восени на глибину десь приблизно 10 сантиметрів в легкий не дуже вологий грунт. Листя після цвітіння залишаю. Ботанічні тюльпани не люблять пересадки, тому я думаю , що вони зайняли своє остаточне місце на моїй клумбі.
