We still haven't recovered from the earthquake. We are still in shock as a country. Since we live in Istanbul, we were not physically affected by the earthquake, but we deeply feel the pain of the people who are having a hard time. We are trying to do everything we can, but the devastation is so great and the pain is so deep that it will take years to ease this pain! In addition, the weather conditions were also very difficult for us, as if everything was coming on top of each other. In the neighborhood where I live, we have dogs abandoned in the park that we visit regularly and they were also affected by the cold weather. I had applied to the municipality for a kennel for the dogs, but since the earthquake happened and all the municipalities went to the earthquake zone, they haven't gotten back to me yet!

Both the earthquake and the fact that stray animals were in danger of dying in the cold were exhausting me psychologically. Fortunately, the weather has improved for a few days and the snowfall has stopped. I am very happy for the stray animals, at least they will be safe! When I went to visit them in the park, they were very happy, we even played games for a long time, we enjoyed the sun for a while. This sun was good for all of us. I was able to recharge my batteries and find some peace with them. At least I don't have to worry about them anymore. As soon as some time passes after the earthquake disaster and the wounds are slowly healed, I will call the municipality again and ask for a hut for them.
