Hi!
The photos of the Altai Mountains do not end, as do the memories of this amazing place. It was difficult to get there. But I think that the harder the road, the more positive emotions we get when we reach our goal. And all the difficulties and troubles that accompany us throughout our journey only make achieving the goal more and more attractive.
Look at this picture. It seems that these are the frozen waves of some kind of mud lake. And not just any ripples, but a rather palpable excitement. It's actually a road. A solid dirt road into the gorge. Of course, it is not smooth at all and not every car can withstand this test. It is very unpleasant to walk along it. So we made our way along the road by the side of the road.
We came across a cargo SUV, in the back of which sat a group of travelers who were returning from the mountains back to the plain. This car was cruising from the washed-away bridge to the mountains. We could arrange with him to pick us up on the return flight. But it was beyond our strength to shake on such a road. It is better to walk slowly, but on foot.
And this is a very strange tree. It is only affected by some kind of disease. either she was struck by lightning. But the color is strange.
The Aktru River is visible in the distance. Here it is already quite a powerful river. And right in front of us is a quiet backwater, almost a swamp.
But the color of this swamp is quite attractive.
Finally, the goal of our trip appeared - Mount Aktru. It seems that here she is. But in fact, it is still a few kilometers away. And our road gradually turned into a small river. It is an unnamed tributary of the Aktru River. It also starts in the mountains, then flows into the main river.
For a pedestrian, such a road is impassable, but cars easily overcome this section of the path.
And this is the Aktru River itself. A real mountain river with a stormy current. You fall in there and you'll be instantly swept downstream. It will most likely end in death.
The only mountains that can be better than mountains are those that you haven't been to yet.
