Hello.
How are you all my dear friends? I hope you are all well. In today's post I have shared stunning photographs of a golden morning from the top of the mountain. These photos were captured on camera while I was visiting Pavagadh with my friends. In which I have shared with you the view of the golden morning from the peak of Pavagadh.
Located in Panchmahal district of Gujarat, the temple of Pavagadh Mahakali is one of the most important places in the state from the point of view of mythological, historical, religious and tourism.
The view of this Shaktipeeth and its surroundings situated on a high hill here is quite amazing. This is the reason why this place attracts a lot of tourists coming here.
According to the Puranas, Sati, who was humiliated during the sacrifice of father Daksha, gave up her life by the force of yoga. Distressed by the death of Sati, Lord Shiva wandered in the universe, carrying on his dead body orgy. Wherever the parts of the mother fell, they became Shaktipeeths.
It is said that the toe of Sati's right foot fell here, due to which the name of this place was named Pavagadh. That is why this place is considered very revered and holy.
The Mahakali temple of Pavagadh is one of those Shaktipeeths. In the pages of history, the name of Pavagadh has come in the context of the contemporary musician Baiju Bawra of the great musician Tansen.
It is said that this temple belongs to the time of Lord Shri Ramchandraji, the king of Ayodhya. This temple was once called Shatrunjaya Mandir. A fair is held here in the Shukla Paksha of Magh month.
