So yesterday i started posting in the photography community and first of all thank you for the feature was great to be featured on only my first day here and secondly i shared a post about how i got into levitation photography and how it now makes me a income via workshops and i received this comment from
So this post is the answer to that comment...
there are a few ways to get the levitation floating effect but the easiest and the way i teach beginners is to get a chair and get your model to balance on it to take the raw image like this....
ask the model to almost lose her balance as she poses so it looks more natural. Best practice is to make sure no hair or clothing is touching the floor as you can see it was here but its not to hard to fix
Next in photoshop cut the model and the chair out from the background and in this case move them up higher so there hair and clothes are off the floor...
Next tidy up the background with the clone stamp and start to remove the chair from the model cut out using the eraser tool or if you want the clone stamp sometimes it can be hard like in the above image where the chair cuts through her dress so take that into account on the photoshoot after that you will have a floating model next just be creative...
And thats it you dont always need a chair to do this thing in the environment can be used like this tree stump below
and here is the result of that one i simple removed the tree stump in photoshop
I made a detailed youtube video showing the editing from start to finish so click the link below to check it out
thanks for reading and thanks for having me here
