In December, there is no snow in our place; instead, we enjoy the wet season. The amount of rain that falls in December is extremely considerable. On Saturday, December 18, 2022, when visiting a relative's house, I discovered perforated concrete walls, and the brick wall of the neighbor's house was overrun with moss and algae. Yeah, excess humidity caused by constant rains and low heat temperatures is one of the reasons.
The perforated concrete walls and the brick walls of the home were covered in dead black moss, with green live moss growing on top; algae was also sprouting from the holes in the fence.
Some of the brick walls could be seen in their original form, but if the humidity continued, they would all become covered in moss.
The moss that grows on the house's fences and walls does not appear to disturb the homeowner. The moss will naturally peel off in the summer.
