I went there yesterday with my mom and my brother. We arrived at 9 AM and still was very chilly and nice to go and not to be burned by the strong sun of the late April days. I saw this lake a few weeks ago and decided to go there again for the dedicated walk and to learn the area around a little bit better. The final walked distance was 13km as I found at the end of our "adventure".
The water is still visible, even half of the lake already become invisible due to the fast-growing high grass which covered the water. The rains season is ended, so there are no other sources of water. I am really curious to see this place again after the hot summer. Not sure if there is even a drop of water left.
I divided my photographs into two parts - as usual, black and white photography that expresses the forms, reflections, and the found geometry much better. And the color photography just shows the real look of the place and some images really need these colors with the goal to be better understood.
I will start with the Black and White part of my photo narration:
We found these remains of the civilization here and there. But the nature is really taking over these old buildings.
And sure these wonderful reflected forms are everywhere.
