Last Sunday, as part of the celebrations for the anniversary of the city of Palhoça, a meeting of drummers took place in a city square.
The location is close to my house, so I grabbed my bike and camera and headed to the venue.
I only carried my 70-300mm lens, so I was more dedicated to portraying the protagonists. I missed a wide angle to capture the full scene. More than 50 drums and a very good band were already playing to a huge crowd when I arrived.
Musicians of all ages, children, teenagers and adults playing rock classics like Smoke on the water, Smell like teen spirit, and others.
It was an afternoon full of energy and smiles.

Espero que estejam todos bem.
No último domingo, como parte das celebrações pelo aniversário da cidade de Palhoça, teve lugar um encontro de bateristas numa praça da cidade.
O local é perto da minha casa, então peguei a minha bike e câmera e me dirigi até o local do evento.
Só carreguei minha lente 70-300 mm, por isso me dediquei mais a retratar os protagonistas. Senti falta de um grande angular para capturar a cena completa. Mais de 50 baterias reunidas e uma banda de muita qualidade já estavam tocando para uma multidão quando cheguei.
Músicos de todas as idades, crianças, adolescentes e adultos tocando ao uníssono clássicos do rock como Smoke on the water, Smell like teen spirit, e outros.
Foi uma tarde cheia de energia e sorrisos.
