Hello everybody! Living near the sea, whenever possible, I like to go for walks on the beach enjoying the sun and the sea air. Always looking for new images, capturing the beauty of the environment, the light, the life by the sea.
On this occasion, I prepared a series of photos of waves, where we can appreciate the different shapes they take on their way to the sand. The shapes, the transparencies, the explosion of foam, the reflections of light, the movement fascinate me.
Today I bring some examples, photos taken at Armação beach, Florianópolis. I usually take pictures of surfers and spend hours watching the movement of the sea, the influence of the wind and the tide on the shape of the waves. Never repeating itself, always varying and surprising, it is necessary to be attentive since everything is very fast and losing the moment is very easy.
I use an old Nikon D7000 and a 70-300 lens, and for the waves I used speeds of 4000 to freeze motion.

Olá a todos! Morando perto do mar, sempre que possível, gosto de dar umas caminhadas pela praia desfrutando do sol e do ar do mar. Sempre procurando novas imagens, capturando a beleza do ambiente, a luz, a vida à beira mar.
Nesta ocasião, preparei uma série de fotos de ondas, onde podemos apreciar as diversas formas que tomam no seu caminho até a areia. Me fascinam as formas, as transparências, a explosão de espuma, os reflexos da luz, o movimento.
Hoje trago alguns exemplos, fotos tomadas na praia de Armação, Florianópolis. Eu costumo fazer fotos dos surfistas e fico horas observando o movimento do mar, a influência do vento e da maré na forma das ondas. Nunca se repetindo, sempre variando e surpreendendo, é necessário estar atento já que tudo é muito rápido e perder o momento é muito fácil.
Uso uma velha Nikon D7000 e uma lente 70-300, e no caso das ondas, usei velocidades de 4000 para congelar o movimento.
