When I think of a sporty look for cars, I think of BMW cars. Yes, there are cars that look sportier right now. I know this. But we are talking about a German automaker that has made a name for itself in sporty looks. Apart from these, of course, BMW attaches importance to comfort, driving safety and speed. But for some reason, when I think of sportiness, BMW comes to mind.

Arabalar için sportif bir görünüm düşündüğümde aklıma BMW arabaları geliyor. Evet, şu anda daha sportif görünen arabalar var. Bunu biliyorum. Ancak sportif görünümüyle adından söz ettiren bir Alman otomobil üreticisinden bahsediyoruz. BMW bunların dışında elbette konfora, sürüş güvenliğine ve hıza önem veriyor. Ama nedense sportiflik denince benim aklıma BMW geliyor.

As you can see here, the old and the new coexist. Even though BMW used to reflect the designs of its era to its cars, nowadays I see that its design has attained its originality. While the old cars produced by BMW have sharper lines, the BMW cars produced now have a more oval structure. However, thanks to this oval structure, BMW cars look more muscular.

Burada gördüğünüz gibi eskiyle yeni bir arada bulunuyor. BMW eskiden döneminin tasarımlarını otomobillerine yansıtsa da şimdilerde görüyorum ki kendi tasarım özgünlüğüne kavuşmuş. BMW'nin ürettiği eski arabalar daha keskin hatlara sahipken şimdilerde üretilen BMW arabaları ise daha oval bir yapıya sahiptir. Ancak bu oval yapı sayesinde BMW arabaları daha kaslı görünüyor.

Kidney grilles... Is there ever a BMW car without kidney grille? Of course not. The double kidney grille on the front of the car has become synonymous with the Bayerische Motoren Werke production cars, which we know officially as BMW. The double kidney grille has become the hallmark of BMW cars. As you can see in this section, the radiator grilles are fitted as a double kidney grille on almost all BMW cars produced from 1938 to 2020.

Böbrek ızgaralar... Böbrek ızgarası olmayan bir BMW otomobil olur mu hiç? Elbette olmaz. Arabanın ön kısmında bulunan çift böbrek ızgara resmen BMW olarak bildiğimiz Bayerische Motoren Werke üretimi arabalar ile özleşmiştir. Çift böbrek ızgara BMW arabalarının ayırt edici özelliği haline gelmiştir. Bu bölümde de gördüğünüz gibi radyatör ızgaraları 1938'den 2020'ye kadar üretilen neredeyse tüm BMW otomobillerinde bir çift böbrek ızgara olarak bulunuyor.

I didn't know whether to call this cute little thing a motorcycle or a small car. This egg-like automobil is a microcar. This three-wheeled car takes up very little space and I guess it has quite a low fuel consumption. Regardless, I loved this cute car. :)

Bu sevimli küçük şeye motosiklet mi yoksa küçük araba mı diyeceğimi bilemedim. Bu yumurta benzeri otomobil bir mikro arabadır. Bu üç tekerlekli araba çok az yer kaplıyor ve sanırım yakıt tüketimi oldukça düşük. Ne olursa olsun, bu sevimli arabayı sevdim. :)
