“Many a book is like a key to unknown chambers within the castle of one’s own self.” ― Franz Kafka
This week I had a little roadtrip to Slovenj Gradec a tiny city, where my mother had a doctor's CT check. It is located in northern part of our lovely tiny sLOVEnia. While waiting I thought I will take a short walk around the block, but my mother was done with the medical exam way sooner than I thought.
So instead of walking on a near by hill or threw the city's center, I decided on our way back home to take a small D tour to a lovely location just by a main road, on top of a hill where old castle Lemberg (Löwenberg) is located.
It is a nice spot with a lovely view and very little effort needed. It is a privately owned castle that is slowly getting rebuild. It was built in 12. century and was mostly destroyed, but over past several years they've put a lot of it together.
It has very high walls, being beautifully rebuild, but doesn't allow to enter as it is private property. After all we had a nice view to end a good day with some good vibes and a fresh mums coffee when we arrived back to her house.
