Roadtrip to Croatia and Castle Otocec in sLOVEnia

Last time I went on a rally I really got inspired to see more of it this year, as I got home I googled out as much as possible to add races to my calendar. From rally's, hill climb races and also drifting events. I always 'needed' another person with me to go enjoy something I trully love, April was also a month that I looked and realized how much limitations I got around my old believes that were like locked breaks in my life. It's not fully released yet, but I'm working on it and realizing that it has to be changed as well.

On Saturday I went on a roadtrip threw Slovenia, with awesome known twisted roads, threw small cities like Lasko, Sevnica, Zidani most, Krsko (where we have Raceland) I stopped there for a minute, after that I went on a highway to Novo mesto and went back on less known twisty roads threw Metlika. Not far after that I got to the border with Croatia and 10 more kilometers later I finally got to the right place, luckly at the perfect time.

I went to watch WRC Croatia 2022 for the first time in my life. World Rally Championship is known to me threw video games and legendary videos on Youtube.

Only made one tiny video and rest was pure joy, found a nice strech of the road on a safe spot on top of a hill, with around a 200m or more view of the car. I got there early where I could pick a spot, seen spots where they surely jump, but it was really crouded even 1 hour before the start.

On my way back home as I was passing through city Novo mesto I went right before going on the highway to see the sunset and go check a nice special castle Otocec. It's mostly known here as Rock Otocec as they used to make big rock concerts in the middle of the summer.

It was a nice way to calm myself down after all the adrenalin that pumped threw my ears, eyes and fulfilled racing desire. Beautiful sunset and calmness of it really feels magical with surounding nature, slow flowing water and stunning castle in the middle of it. After that I went back home to get some sleep, because early next morning I went to see the WRC again on a different location, with more time and nice weather.
