Black and white photography is a type of photography that is characterised by the absence of colour, so it is composed of black, white and even grey tones, thus creating a very interesting contrast, with the help of the light that is used.
In my life with respect to photography, it has been very fundamental to take photographs in black and white, because every time it creates in me a greater interest in the way in which the image can be captured in the photographic frame, making more interesting atmospheres on the objective to be photographed.
La fotografía en blanco y negro, es un tipo de fotografía que se caracteriza en tener ausencia de color, por lo que se compone desde las tonalidades negros, blancos y hasta grises, creando así un contraste muy interesante, con ayuda de la luz que se utilice.
En mi vida con respecto a la fotografía, ha sido muy fundamental hacer fotografías en blanco y negro, porque cada vez crea en mí un mayor interés en la manera como se puede plasmar la imagen en el encuadre fotográfico, haciendo atmósferas más interesantes sobre el objetivo a fotografiar.

The lighting is crucial to obtain a good black and white photograph, otherwise without a spotlight it would be difficult to create a good contrast in the photograph, especially on the figure. Therefore you should always try to manage the lighting to your advantage.
Such is the case of this photograph, where my wife's face is exposed to the natural light coming through the window, highlighting the expression of her face with greater intensity. This is one of the other points that makes black and white photography possible, which shows with much more expression the emotions of human and even animal faces.
La iluminación es determinante para obtener una buena fotografía en blanco y negro, de lo contrario sin tener un foco de luz sería difícil crear un buen contraste en la fotografía, y principalmente sobre ña figura. Por lo tanto siempre se debe buscar manejar la iluminación a tu favor.
Tal es el caso de este fotografía que muestro, donde el rostro de mi esposa esta expuesta ante la luz natural que entra por la ventana, resaltando la expresión de su rostro con mayor intensidad. Es ese de los otros puntos que hace posible la fotografía en blanco y negro, que demarca con mucha más expresión las emociones de las caras humanas e inluso animal.

Normally in landscape photography or natural environments, it is more harmonious to capture the picture in colour, but there is also the case that you can capture interesting pictures in monochrome, because you can highlight contrasts in the main figure of the landscape.
As we see in this photograph, where you can see the contrast generated by the black mountain, and as a background in white and grey tones, the clouds. Undoubtedly it is a composition that creates a good atmosphere in the photograph.
Normalmente en la fotografía de paisajismo o entornos naturales, se hace más armonioso captando la fotografía a color, pero tambien existe el caso de que se puede plasmar fotos interesantes en monocromático, porque se puede resaltar contrastes en la figura principal del paisaje.
Como vemos en esta fotografía, donde se puede ver ese contraste que se genera en negro la montaña, y como fondo wn tonalidades en blanco y gris, las nubes. Sin duda es un composición que crea una biena atmósfera en la fotografía.

Also in black and white photography, silhouettes of figures can be obtained more effectively, because these contrasts are better denoted as long as we have some illumination.
In this self-portrait I took of myself playing the guitar, I intended to create that silhouette of me with the guitar, with the soft capture of the light coming through the window. It's part of photographic composition and creating other perspectives.
También en la fotografía en blanco y negro, se puede obtener siluetas de figuras, con una mayor eficacia, porque se denota mejor esos contrastes siempre y cuando tengamos algo de iluminación.
En este autorretrato que me hice tocando la guitarra, tuve la intención de crear esa silueta de mí con la guitarra, con la captación suave de la luz que entra por la ventana. Es parte de la composición fotográfica y de crear otras perspectivas.

And finally, you can get good black and white photographs of animals, no matter how colourful those animals may be, just like humans, you can capture and highlight those expressions of these beings. As well as to find that contrast that can be achieved with the illumination on the figure of any animal, which is exposed as a photographic objective.
Y por último, se puede lograr buenas fotografías en blanco y negro de animales, sin importar que tan coloridos pueden ser esos animales, al igual que el ser humano, se puede captar y resaltar esas expresiones de estos seres. Como también encontrar ese contraste que se puede lograr con la iluminación sobre oa figura de cualquier animal, que este expuesto como objetivo fotográfico.
