Happy day, everyone!
I hope you are all doing well. I am getting caught up in the excitement of this community, which I have always admired but never dared to post in, as I don't consider myself an expert in photography, even though I am always capturing scenes of my city, my travels, curiosities, animals, and scenes that nature gives us. Today I dared to start posting because the community moderators describe in the information box that it is not imperative that we be experts, so with that in mind, here is my first post on Photography Lovers.
I would like to introduce you to the Cathedral of Maturín, Monagas State, Venezuela. Its official name is “Cathedral of Our Lady of Carmen” and it is located in the city center, between two main avenues. Its architecture is predominantly Romanesque, and it was designed by German architect Ernesto Prall. It's funny, but I think all of us locals can recite this information from memory. Practically anyone in this city can tell you these facts without hesitation, because we are all proud to talk about it, and we learn about it from the time we are in school.
We always highlight an important fact, which is that this cathedral is the second tallest in Latin America, the first being in Mexico.
Yesterday evening, I walked down the main avenue in the city center, and I was dazzled by the Christmas decorations, which are already quite impressive, although they are still working on more areas. It is mainly lighting decorations, as a modern lighting system has been installed in the surrounding squares and throughout the architectural structure.
All the spaces have lighting that invites you to simply stop the car and stay to talk, or take photos with your friends or family. Everything is bathed in shades of yellow, white, and blue, which makes for a very cozy atmosphere.
By the way, I need to learn how to improve my nighttime photography when there are lots of lights in the environment, as is the case here. Since there are so many rays of light, I don't know how difficult it will be to improve this aspect, but being there in person, the whole atmosphere is equally dazzling.

Little by little, mobile fast food outlets, electric skateboard rentals, children's play areas, and other attractions are being set up, discreetly enhancing the experience for families and adding to the Christmas spirit. I really like how civic-minded people are, as they are genuinely enjoying themselves and taking care of each space.
These spaces are designed for families to get together, share unforgettable moments, and create memories that will last forever. And, of course, the best thing is to keep them forever and with love in Hive.
