Let the games begin ā¹š¾āāļø
In just a few short ours the first even will take place. Although it is just practice, it will surely have some exciting moments worth seeing. The Celebrity game is usually both funny and competitive. Then there is the Rising Stars game where the best young players in the league get a chance to show out. Friday is packed with action.
The following day is full of events too, but it is the 8 p.m. slot that really should get your attention. There will be three separate contests. The Skills Challenge where players speed through an obstacle course. The 3-point contest where fellas well be letting 25 shots rain down from behind the arc each round. Then it ends with the explosive dunk contest. You never know what tricks these players have up their sleeves. It is not only a night of skill, but also creativity and style.
The weekend will end with the most anticipated event of all. The 72nd NBA All-Star Game. An hour before tip-off there will be a draft where the two team leaders (LeBron and Giannis) will select which guys they want on their team. Gone are the days of East vs West. Once the selections are made, that's out the window and anything goes in terms of who plays with who.
One thing is for sure, each day has at least one event worth watching. I've given you the times and an idea of which will be the most exciting. Now it is time for some basketball.
