Hugs to all my friends at Rising Star. You know, just a few moments ago I finished a drawing I did with my colored pencils and markers, as the title says, and I wanted you to see it. It's of a musical instrument, the Hang Drum. You can find it among the game's cards with the ID number R33. As you can see, that ID number is low, which means it's among the oldest rare instruments in Rising Star and possibly one of the first to appear in that category. Were any of you already in the game when it came out? I'd love to know when it was released.
The Hang Drum, friends, is a fairly recent instrument compared to all the ones I've drawn before, which must surely be hundreds of years old. It wasn't actually invented in the 2000s by some people in Switzerland. It's actually a brass cymbal filled with air. The sides are hexagonal and not completely rounded. Each hexagon has a distinct sound, so you can create many different notes with it.
I really enjoy listening to it, especially for relaxation, because of the peace it brings. And in fact, that's its main use today: for relaxation music, spiritual music, for healing the mind, and many therapeutic and medicinal uses. Many people use it in nu-age and modern experimental music. I invite you to take a look after you finish looking at the drawing if you've never heard it before.
Thank you so much for looking at my drawing of the day. The Hang Drum is definitely very interesting to listen to and to learn a little about. I hope I've cleared up some doubts about it. I'll be back soon with more. Warm regards.
